How to play 4096 Sling

Drag back from anywhere on the field and let go to fire the number in the sling, like a slingshot: the further you pull, the harder it flies, and the dotted line shows where it will hit. If the ball hits its twin, on top of a stack or on the side of one, the two merge into their double: two 8s make a 16. Otherwise the ball settles on top of the stack it hits, or drops in front of a block it hits from the side. A block that ends up touching its twin, below, beside or above it, merges with it too, and the double goes on merging, always two at a time; the blocks above one that leaves fall down a row. The Next box shows the number after this one. The game ends when a stack reaches the dashed line level with the cliff top. Build a 4096 block to win.

On a computer: ↑ and ↓ raise and lower the aim, ← and → set the power (hold Shift for fine steps), and Space or Enter fires. U undoes a shot, 3 per game. Your game and best score stay in this browser.
